Concern: volume loss

Facial Volume Loss

Changes in facial volume can alter shadows, folds and proportions over time. The goal is not to refill every hollow; it is to understand which changes are structural and whether treatment would look natural.

Volume loss is not the same as loose skin

Filler can support selected areas but cannot reproduce a surgical lift. Sometimes improving skin quality or leaving an area untreated is the better choice.

A conservative filler plan

When filler is appropriate, product and volume are selected for the area and anatomy. Small staged changes can be easier to evaluate than large one-time corrections.

Under-eye concerns need special caution

Darkness and hollowing under the eyes can have multiple causes. Filler is not automatically the right answer and can worsen puffiness in some people.
