What it can treat
Potential targets include small skin tags, milia, ruby points, spider angioma and telangiectasias. The lesion type, size, location and skin characteristics determine the treatment plan and number of sessions.
Assessment and treatment
The clinician assesses the skin concern, discusses a plan and uses a small probe to deliver electrical energy to the selected tissue. Any combination with skin lesion removal or other treatments is planned individually.
Aftercare and safety
Keep the treated area clean and dry for at least 24 hours. Do not scratch or pick it, as this can increase scarring risk. Avoid direct sun and use high-SPF sunscreen when exposure cannot be avoided. Use a soothing, hypoallergenic cream only as recommended, and attend any advised follow-up.
Changes in skin colour can occur, with a higher risk in darker skin tones. Assessment helps determine suitability; improvement and the number of treatments vary.
